Engineering software and services for energy and industrial facilities

Operations, performance and engineering software for solar PV and industrial facilities

Track production performance, spot deviations earlier and manage alarms, events and reports in one place. Our first product is a PV monitoring and operations dashboard; for CFD and FEA we provide project-based engineering services.

m4chanical GES

m4chanical GES: plant performance on one screen

Compare expected and actual output per inverter. Fault and underperformance events are listed with duration and estimated loss.

  • Expected vs. actual output at 15-minute resolution
  • Energy-weighted performance ratio (PR) with an adjustable threshold
  • Critical fault and underperformance events with estimated kWh loss
  • Telegram notifications, PDF and CSV reports
Active alarms table: critical inverter fault and underperformance events with duration, lowest PR and estimated kWh loss

Method

How it works

m4chanical GES works in four steps. The rules and calculations behind each step are explicit.

  1. Data source

Per-inverter power, irradiance and module temperature as a 15-minute time series.

    kW · W/m² · °C
  2. Analysis and monitoring

Expected output is computed from irradiance and the temperature coefficient; PR is derived.

    PR = E_actual / E_expected
  3. Alarm and action

Faults and underperformance are grouped into events and sent to the team via Telegram.

    CRITICAL · WARNING
  4. Reporting

Daily PDF report, per-inverter PR table and CSV export.

m4chanical

Why m4chanical?

Engineering you can verify, instead of big promises.

  • Explainable calculations

Every alarm is backed by a written rule and formula. You can always see why you were alerted.

  • Built by a mechanical engineer

Irradiance, temperature coefficient and performance ratio, modelled by someone who knows the physics of a plant.

  • You work directly with the engineer

No call centre in between. Your question is answered by the person who builds the software.

  • One account, only what you need

Start with PV; HVAC, CFD or FEA are added to the same account when you need them.

  • Alerts that fit field work

Critical faults alert with sound, warnings silently; the same event is never sent twice.

  • Honest product information

We never present what is not ready as ready. Each product's status and current gaps are stated plainly.

Frequently asked questions

What does m4chanical do?

We build engineering software and services for power plants, industrial facilities and buildings. Our first product is a PV performance monitoring and operations dashboard.

Which product can I use today?

m4chanical GES is in early access. CFD and FEA are offered as project-based engineering services. The HVAC product is in development.

What does it cost?

Pricing depends on plant size and needs. We do not publish a fixed list price; contact us to discuss plans.

I am a customer. Where do I sign in?

The “Sign in” link at the top right takes you to the customer dashboard. If you do not have an account, contact your account manager.

Do your products use AI?

Detections in the PV dashboard are based on explainable rules and physical calculations. We do not claim any AI-based feature.

Start tracking your plant against expected output.

In a demo call we walk through the dashboard together and discuss how your data could be connected.
